Bundobust Brewery is the in-house brewery behind the popular Bundobust Indian street food restaurants, producing modern beers created specifically to complement the bold, vibrant flavours of its menu. Brewing hop-forward pales, IPAs, lagers and seasonal specials, the brewery focuses on freshness, drinkability and food pairing. While its beers are exclusive to Bundobust venues, regular collaborations with some of the UK's leading breweries bring fresh ideas and limited-edition releases to the lineup.
Brewery story
Bundobust Brewery was established in 2021 at Bundobust Manchester on Oxford Street, creating a purpose-built brewery inside one of the restaurant group's flagship venues. The brewery was founded to give Bundobust complete control over its beer offering, producing beers designed specifically to pair with its Indian-inspired vegetarian street food.
Unlike most breweries, Bundobust's beers are brewed exclusively for its own restaurants and are not widely distributed. The core range focuses on approachable, modern styles including pale ales, IPAs and lagers, all brewed with balance and drinkability in mind to complement the restaurant menu.
Alongside its own beers, Bundobust has built a reputation for collaborating with some of the UK's most respected breweries. Cask collaborations have frequently featured Thornbridge, while keg projects with breweries such as Northern Monk, Cloudwater and Sureshot have produced limited-edition beers showcasing new ingredients, techniques and styles.
Although still a relatively young brewery, Bundobust has become an integral part of the restaurant experience, offering award-winning beers brewed just metres from the bar. Its combination of fresh, brewery-exclusive releases and high-profile collaborations has helped establish Bundobust Brewery as one of Manchester's most distinctive brewing destinations.
