Six°North

Six°North was established in 2013 in Aberdeenshire with a clear focus on brewing beers influenced by the traditions of Belgium. Rather than limiting itself to conventional British styles, the brewery built its identity around Belgian-inspired brewing, exploring the character, fermentation and flavour profiles associated with some of Europe's most distinctive beer traditions.

From its brewery near Laurencekirk, Six°North produces beer on a purpose-built plant and packages its range in different formats depending on the style, including cask, keg and cans. This flexibility allows the brewery to move between more traditional presentation and modern craft beer formats while keeping its Belgian influence at the centre of the range.

The wider Six°North family also includes The Marine Hotel in Stonehaven, a harbour-side hotel, restaurant and bar overlooking the water. The Marine serves Six°North beer alongside a broader selection from the UK, Belgium and further afield, giving the brewery a permanent hospitality connection away from the production site.

That relationship between brewing and hospitality reflects the brewery's broader approach to beer: Belgian brewing provides the inspiration, while the range is designed to be enjoyed across different settings and formats. From its Aberdeenshire base, Six°North continues to produce characterful beers shaped by that European influence while maintaining a strong connection to Scotland's north-east coast.
