A traditional Best Bitter from Welsh independent brewery Arthur's Stone Brewery, combining a complex malt bill with an interesting selection of British, Polish and European hops. Smooth Rupert is brewed with pale ale malt, Caramunich III, wheat, acidulated malt and Carafa Special III, alongside golden syrup. Admiral, Polish Magnum, East Kent Goldings, Bobek and Polish Tradition hops provide the beer's varied hop character. At 5% ABV, this characterful bitter takes its playful name from a classic Taskmaster television moment featuring comedian Munya Chawawa, bringing a touch of humour to a traditional British beer style.
