About Falmouth Brewery
Falmouth Brewery was founded in 2025 by brothers Spencer and Conrad Smith, who set out to establish an independent brewery in the heart of Falmouth. Brewing began in October on a 600-litre brewhouse installed within an outbuilding of the historic Jacobs Ladder Inn.
The brewery's first beers were initially poured exclusively at the Jacobs Ladder Inn, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh beer brewed just a few metres away. As production grew, the range quickly expanded beyond the pub and into other venues across Cornwall.
Remaining proudly independent, Falmouth Brewery focuses on brewing small-batch beers that showcase modern brewing techniques while contributing to Cornwall's thriving craft beer scene. Despite its young history, the brewery has already established itself as an exciting new addition to the county's brewing heritage.
