About Fierce Beer
Fierce Beer was founded in Aberdeen in 2016 by Dave Grant and David McHardy, who left careers in the oil and gas industry to create the kind of hop-forward craft beer they felt was missing from Scotland. Inspired by American West Coast brewing, the brewery quickly established a reputation for bold flavours, modern beer styles and a willingness to experiment.
Rapid growth saw Fierce move into a larger production brewery in Dyce in 2022, allowing the team to expand distribution across the UK while remaining proudly independent. Today, Fierce beers are stocked by major supermarkets, exported internationally and poured in the brewery's own bars in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, alongside regular appearances at festivals throughout the country.
While hazy IPAs remain a cornerstone of the range, Fierce has built a diverse portfolio that includes crisp lagers, award-winning gluten-free and vegan-friendly beers, innovative Beer Coolers and the highly sought-after Very Big Moose series of whisky barrel-aged imperial stouts. Backed by dozens of brewing awards and a loyal community of supporters, Fierce Beer continues to push Scottish craft brewing forward without compromising on flavour.

Located in the heart of Aberdeen, Fierce Bar is the brewery's flagship taproom, pouring 20 rotating taps of Fierce favourites, limited releases, guest beers and barrel-aged specials.
