Gilt & Flint is an independent organic brewery based at Haye Farm in Musbury, within the protected countryside of East Devon. Combining traditional brewing techniques with modern, New World-inspired styles, the brewery produces bottle-conditioned beers that reflect its commitment to craftsmanship and natural ingredients. The brewery's identity is closely connected to Haye Farm and its surrounding landscape. Its name combines two distinctive elements of the farm: the young female pigs known as gilts and the flint-rich fields of East Devon. The logo features a Janus-inspired design incorporating gilt pigs, symbolising both the heritage of brewing and the brewery's forward-looking approach to sustainability. Agricultural by-products from production are returned to the farm's free-range livestock, helping create a circular relationship between brewing and farming.
