Glastonbury Brewing Co is a craft microbrewery established in 2006 at Park Corner Farm beneath Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. Its beers are brewed using natural spring water sourced from beneath the Tor, giving the range a strong connection to its surroundings. Alongside its real ales, the brewery also produces small-batch Somerset ciders using locally sourced apples.
Brewery story
Glastonbury Brewing Co was established in 2006 at Park Corner Farm, beneath the distinctive landscape of Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. The brewery draws much of its identity and inspiration from Glastonbury and its surrounding countryside.
A defining feature of its brewing is the use of natural Glastonbury spring water sourced from beneath the Tor. The brewery considers the water an important part of the character of its beers, giving them a direct connection to the place in which they are made.
The brewery produces a range of real ales spanning core and seasonal releases. Its beers have received recognition from organisations including SIBA and Taste of the West, with Hedge Monkey and Lady of the Lake among its award-winning core beers.
Glastonbury has also expanded beyond beer into small-batch cider. These are made using locally sourced apples grown around Glastonbury Tor, combining Somerset's cider-making heritage with the brewery's focus on products rooted in its local landscape.
Visitors can call into the brewery shop at Park Corner Farm, just over a mile from Glastonbury town centre. As well as buying the brewery's products, visitors are invited to stop for a pint while taking in views towards the surrounding Glastonbury landscape.
