Electric Bear Brewing

Founded in 2015 by former homebrewer Chris Lewis, Electric Bear Brewing Co. takes its name from the historic Bear Brewery that once stood in Bath's Bear Flat. The 'Electric' part of the name reflects the brewery's original electrically powered brewhouse, combining local brewing heritage with a modern approach to craft beer.

Located on the edge of Bath, the brewery embraces the idea that the most exciting things happen on the edge, both geographically and creatively. Brewing around four new beers each month alongside its award-winning core range, Electric Bear has built a reputation for producing consistently high-quality modern beer across a wide variety of styles.

Today the brewery is owned by Bathonians David and Mary Horner, whose investment has helped expand Electric Bear while maintaining its independent spirit. From its brewery taproom in Bath, Electric Bear supplies pubs, bars, bottle shops and drinkers across the UK, continuing its mission to create innovative beers that celebrate creativity, optimism and good times.
