About Yonder Brewing & Blending
Yonder Brewing & Blending was founded in 2018 by brewing professionals Jasper Tupman and Stuart Winstone, who brought around 20 years of combined craft beer experience to the project. United by a shared passion for flavour, fermentation and fun, the pair invested everything they had into establishing the brewery at Rookery Farm in the Mendip Hills of Somerset, beginning on a shoestring with a second-hand brewing kit.
Based on a repurposed farm site near Wells, Yonder describes itself as a modern farmhouse brewery. Its approach combines an enthusiasm for mixed fermentation and experimentation with a broad appreciation of beer styles, producing everything from classic lagers and ales to modern IPAs and distinctive sour beers, all with a strong emphasis on flavour and creativity.
The brewery has grown considerably since its early days at Rookery Farm. Head Brewer David Williams, another experienced figure from the craft beer industry, joined the team as Yonder expanded, with production capacity increasing by 300% in 2022. Its beers have since found drinkers throughout the UK, Europe and further afield.
Fruit-led and mixed-fermentation beers have become an important part of Yonder's identity. Raspberry Gose has remained a regular part of the production schedule since 2019, while its success encouraged the brewery to explore fruit more extensively through an ever-changing programme of specials and one-off releases. This combination of farmhouse inspiration, fermentation expertise and experimentation continues to define Yonder's approach to modern brewing.
