Villages is a Deptford brewery established in 2016, producing approachable core beers alongside seasonal releases, collaborations and small-batch experiments. Based in railway arches on Resolution Way, the brewery also operates an onsite taproom serving its beer directly at the source.
Brewery story
Villages was founded in Deptford in 2016 by brothers Archie and Louis Village from a shared love of beer and the idea of creating experiences that bring people together. The brewery established its home in the railway arches on Resolution Way and became closely connected with the surrounding Deptford community.
The business changed ownership in 2022, when Archie and Louis sold Villages to 52 Degrees Brewing. Brewing has continued from its Deptford home, with Rodeo Pale Ale and Rafiki Session IPA forming the core range alongside the seasonally evolving Yarn and Big Salad and a changing selection of experimental beers, collaborations and one-off releases. All of the brewery's beers are vegan friendly.
The Resolution Way brewery is also home to the Villages taproom, where beer is served directly from the source from Thursday to Sunday. Alongside Villages beers on draught and cans to take away, the bar offers wine and cider, with indoor and outdoor space providing a focal point for the brewery's community-led approach.
