Burton Bridge Brewery was established in Burton upon Trent in 1982 by Bruce Wilkinson and Geoff Mumford. Following their retirement in 2024, the brewery was merged with the Heritage Brewery brand, with the Burton Bridge Inn continuing as its traditional brewery tap.

Burton Bridge Brewery was founded in 1982 by Bruce Wilkinson and Geoff Mumford in Burton upon Trent, a town with centuries of brewing heritage.
Following the founders' retirement in 2024, the brewery was merged with Planning Solutions, owners of the Heritage Brewery brand. Al Wall, formerly of Cloudwater in Manchester, became head brewer.
