Brewery story
First & Last Brewery was established in Elsdon, Northumberland in 2016 as a family-run microbrewery producing small-batch cask, bottled and canned beer.
The brewery expanded to a five-barrel system in 2018 before relocating to Bellingham in 2022, where further expansion brought a 10-barrel brewhouse alongside a brewery shop and taproom.
Northumberland is central to the brewery's identity, with beers inspired by its wild landscapes and dark skies. Seasonal releases also make use of locally sourced and foraged ingredients to create flavours rooted in the region.
First & Last also places an emphasis on reducing its environmental impact and supporting its community, including measuring its carbon footprint and producing beers that raise money for local causes.
The Bellingham brewery is now home to a family and dog-friendly taproom serving beer brewed onsite, with regular music sessions and a location beside the Hareshaw Linn waterfall walk.
