Great Beyond Brewing Company

Great Beyond Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery founded by three experienced brewers and friends, Ollie, Nick and John. Based beneath the London Overground railway arches in Hoxton, East London, the brewery was established around a shared commitment to quality, creativity and community. Its approach combines carefully selected ingredients with modern brewing techniques, producing beers that reflect the founders' experience and enthusiasm for a wide range of styles. Sustainability and a strong connection to the local area are central to the brewery's values.

The brewery occupies two railway arches on Union Walk, with a third arch housing its public taproom. This arrangement allows Great Beyond to brew and serve its beers within the same location, creating a direct connection between production and customers. Its range spans lagers, pale ales, IPAs, stouts, sours and seasonal releases, with beers packaged in cask, keg and cans. In summer 2025, the brewery introduced two cask ales to its taproom offering, broadening its selection alongside contemporary craft styles.

Great Beyond's Hoxton taproom has become an important part of its identity, offering 23 rotating taps in a relaxed railway-arch setting just minutes from Hoxton Station. The venue combines exposed brickwork and artwork from Jealous Gallery with natural wines, cocktails and food delivered by Yard Sale Pizza. A courtyard provides outdoor seating during warmer months, while the main bar accommodates approximately 90 guests. Regular events, private celebrations and occasional food pop-ups help make the taproom a lively destination for the surrounding community.

Beyond its taproom, Great Beyond supplies an increasing number of local bars and makes its beers available through its online shop. The brewery continues to experiment with different styles while maintaining its emphasis on quality, sustainability and creativity. Through its combination of onsite production, an established neighbourhood taproom and a growing presence across East London's independent beer scene, Great Beyond reflects the character and energy of its Hoxton surroundings.
