Arran Brewery has been crafting award-winning beers on the Isle of Arran since 2000. Nestled beneath Goatfell and beside Brodick Castle, this family-run Scottish brewery blends traditional brewing with local character, producing a diverse range of cask, keg and bottled beers inspired by the island's dramatic landscapes and rich heritage.
Brewery story
Founded in 2000 on the picturesque Isle of Arran, Arran Brewery has spent more than two decades brewing beers that celebrate Scotland's natural beauty and brewing traditions. Located between Goatfell, the island's highest peak, and the historic Brodick Castle, the brewery draws inspiration from one of the country's most iconic landscapes.
Since taking over the brewery in 2008, the current father, daughter and son-in-law team has continued to grow the business while keeping its family-run spirit firmly at its heart. From brewing and bottling to deliveries, tours and tastings, every member of the team plays a hands-on role in producing and sharing Arran's beers.
Quality has been a constant focus throughout the brewery's history. Arran Brewery has won at least one beer award every year since opening, with recent successes at the 2024 World Beer Awards including Scotland Gold medals for Milestone Special Reserve and Sleeping Warrior, alongside a Scotland Bronze for Arran Dark. Today, the brewery remains dedicated to producing approachable, flavourful Scottish beers while proudly representing the Isle of Arran across the UK and beyond.
