Time & Tide Brewing

Time & Tide Brewing was founded in 2013 and established its home at Statenborough Farm, near the historic coastal town of Deal in East Kent. From its rural setting, the brewery developed a reputation for producing distinctive, hop-forward beers, particularly modern IPAs that showcase expressive hop flavours and aromas. Its range combines five core beers with a changing selection of new releases, allowing the brewing team to experiment while maintaining familiar favourites. This balance between consistency and creativity has helped Time & Tide establish a distinctive identity within Kent's independent brewing scene.

The brewery's production site at Statenborough Farm plays an important role in how its beers reach customers. Beer is brewed and packaged onsite, with fresh draught beer stored in a refrigerated cold store before being served. The brewery taproom provides visitors with an opportunity to enjoy its beers close to where they are made, typically offering at least eight keg lines and expanding to as many as thirty-two for larger celebrations. Alongside its own beers, Time & Tide occasionally showcases guest breweries and offers takeaway cans, local cider, wine and soft drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating make the taproom a welcoming destination for families, dog owners and visitors exploring the surrounding countryside.

Time & Tide has also developed a strong presence beyond its original brewery through the Time & Tide Taphouse in Sandwich. Situated on Delf Street, the bar provides a dedicated showcase for the brewery's beers, with twelve keg lines featuring its core range and changing releases alongside occasional guest beers. A large refrigerated selection of cans allows customers to enjoy fresh beer onsite or take it home, while the bar also offers independent drinks including local cider, wine and spirits. The venue hosts beer tasting events, with staff helping visitors explore different styles and discover new favourites. The brewery has also operated a summer pop-up bar at Macknade's Food Village in Faversham.

Community events and opportunities to discover beer are central to the Time & Tide experience. The brewery taproom hosts seasonal celebrations, beer festivals and Oktoberfest-style gatherings, alongside occasional music, special tastings and brewery-related activities. Its location near Worth, Eastry and Ash also makes it accessible to walkers and cyclists exploring the Kent countryside.
