Independent brewery, taphouse and restaurant in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley. Established in 2015, Brinkburn Street was influenced by West Coast American brewing, with citrus flavours and assertive hop character featuring across many of its beers.
Brewery story
Brinkburn Street Brewery was established in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2015, taking its name from its original home on Brinkburn Street.
Its early brewing was strongly influenced by West Coast American beer styles, with citrus flavours, prominent hops and assertive bitterness becoming characteristic of many of its beers.
In 2018 the brewery relocated to a larger site in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley, where brewing was joined by a permanent taphouse.
The Ouseburn site has since developed into a restaurant and events space as well as a working brewery, combining beer brewed onsite with locally sourced food and regular events.
Brinkburn Street also runs brewery tours and tasting experiences, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process and the history and culture surrounding beer.
