Southwark Brewing Company

Founded in 2014 by Peter Jackson and Andy Nichol, Southwark Brewing Company combines decades of brewing industry experience with a passion for traditional British beer. Although Peter had spent more than 30 years in brewing sales and marketing, it was only with the guidance of master brewer Sean Franklin—founder of the award-winning Rooster's Brewery—that he began brewing himself, developing early recipes from a homebrew setup in his garage.

From those beginnings, Southwark Brewing quickly established itself in Bermondsey with a 10-barrel brewery and taproom, building a reputation for producing high-quality cask ales alongside a growing range of modern beer styles. Over the years, the brewery has expanded its facilities, grown its brewing team, and produced more than 150 different beers while remaining firmly rooted in London's pub culture.

Known for supplying some of the capital's finest cask ale pubs, Southwark Brewing has earned a loyal following through its commitment to quality, consistency, and traditional brewing values. Today, the brewery continues to brew and serve beer from its Bermondsey home, combining local heritage with a spirit of continual development and innovation.
