Founded in 2023 on the edge of the New Forest, Dead Duck Brewery crafts small-batch cask ales and live canned beers inspired by local landscapes, wildlife and forest folklore.
Brewery story
Dead Duck Brewery began life in the kitchen of a South London flat, where a passion for brewing and a desire to create great beer first took shape. What started as a small home-brewing project has since grown into a microbrewery nestled in the heart of the New Forest, with bigger equipment, bigger ambitions and the same commitment to quality that inspired its beginnings.
Despite the journey from city flat to countryside brewery, the mission has remained unchanged: to brew approachable, flavourful beers that people genuinely enjoy drinking. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes, wildlife and folklore of the New Forest, Dead Duck has quickly built a reputation for producing characterful beers with a strong local identity.
The brewery's rapid growth has seen its beers appear in pubs, shops and festivals across the region, earning recognition in the Good Beer Guide 2025. For Dead Duck, every milestone is part of an ongoing adventure, and the team continues to welcome new drinkers along for the ride as the story unfolds.
