Monkey Brewhouse is a five-barrel brewery established in 2021, producing a diverse range of cask and keg beers from its oak-framed brewhouse, which features full-height windows for visitors to view the brewing process from both the pub and outdoors.
Brewery story
Monkey Brewhouse is one of the newest brewing ventures in the New Forest, founded by brewer Will Bradshaw with a vision of creating a true brewpub where beer is brewed and enjoyed under the same roof. After acquiring the site in 2020, Bradshaw invested in a purpose-built microbrewery and transformed the venue into a brewery-led destination, reopening as Monkey Brewhouse in 2021.
At the heart of the operation is a five-barrel brewery producing a diverse range of beers that balance traditional British brewing with modern craft influences. The brewery's core range includes cask bitters, pale ales, IPAs, porters and its popular Forest Lager, while regular seasonal and small-batch releases allow the team to experiment with new recipes and hop combinations. Owner-brewer Will Bradshaw remains closely involved in recipe development and day-to-day brewing, ensuring a hands-on approach to quality and consistency.
Today, Monkey Brewhouse has established itself as a respected independent brewery in Southern Hampshire, supplying beers both directly through its brewpub and to local free houses across the New Forest and surrounding area. By combining small-scale production, local distribution and a brewer-led philosophy, Monkey Brewhouse continues to champion fresh, characterful beer brewed just a few metres from where it is served.
