About Flower Pots
The Flower Pots Brewery was established in 1993 in the picturesque Hampshire village of Cheriton, close to the source of the River Itchen. Located just 50 yards from The Flower Pots Inn, the brewery has spent more than three decades producing traditional cask ales and beers on a small scale while maintaining a strong reputation for quality and consistency.
Brewing takes place in a ten-barrel microbrewery where the team produces award-winning beers in small batches. Brewing an average of five times per week, the brewery creates approximately 730,000 pints annually, supplying pubs, clubs and beer lovers across Hampshire and beyond.
The brewery has built its reputation on traditional brewing methods, local heritage and a commitment to producing characterful cask ales. Many beers take inspiration from the surrounding countryside and local history, including Hopton IPA, originally brewed to commemorate the Battle of Cheriton of 1644, fought on fields adjacent to the brewery.
Today, Flower Pots Brewery remains an independent, brewer-led operation. Led by Head Brewer Ash and supported by a skilled brewing team, the brewery continues to produce a range of award-winning ales that combine traditional craftsmanship with carefully selected modern hop varieties.
