Triple Point is an independent Sheffield brewery founded in 2019 by father and son Mike and George Brook alongside master brewer Alex. Based on Shoreham Street in the city centre, the brewery produces fresh, unfiltered and unpasteurised beer, with its entire range brewed to be gluten-free and vegan wherever possible.
Brewery story
Triple Point began in 2019 when Mike and George Brook set out to revive a defunct Sheffield brewery. Despite neither coming from a brewing background, their shared interest in beer led them to acquire brewing equipment and secure a city-centre site on Shoreham Street, with experienced master brewer Alex joining the team.
The brewery was built around a simple principle: 'The Beer Comes First'. Brewing began before the taproom and branding were fully developed, with early beer names handwritten on slate. That approach became part of Triple Point's identity, with new beer names still handwritten by members of the team.
Triple Point has since developed a broad range of modern beers, with every batch brewed to be gluten-free and independently tested to ensure it contains less than 20ppm of gluten. Its brewery taproom sits alongside the working brewhouse, serving beer brewed onsite across 15 lines alongside food and other drinks.
