About Yorkshire Dales Brewery

Yorkshire Dales Brewery is a family-run brewery based at Abbey Works in Askrigg, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Brewing for more than 15 years, the brewery has built its identity around producing Yorkshire beer with quality ingredients and taking care of every stage of the process, from developing recipes through to getting the finished beer into the glass.

The brewery produces a varied range spanning traditional and modern styles, including dark stouts, golden ales, best bitters and juicy IPAs. Its cask and keg beers are supplied to pubs throughout the Yorkshire Dales, while bottled beers are available directly from the brewery, online and through independent retailers and bottle shops across Yorkshire and into the North East.

As a family business, Yorkshire Dales Brewery remains closely involved in every aspect of production and distribution. Its location in Askrigg also gives drinkers the opportunity to experience the beers at their source, with an onsite bottle shop and a seasonal brewery tap and beer garden.

The Brewery Tap & Garden opens through the warmer months and has developed into a community destination as well as a place for fresh beer. Alongside regular Friday and Saturday opening, the brewery hosts its Brewery Sessions programme of live music and seasonal events, bringing together locally brewed beer, food, music and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales.
