Lost Cause Brewing Co. is an independent brewery founded in 2024 by husband-and-wife team Colin and Vik Stronge, who brought more than 40 years of combined industry experience to the business. Now based in Wakefield, it produces modern beer in keg and can, with occasional cask releases.

Lost Cause Brewing Co. was established in Castleford in 2024 by husband-and-wife team Colin and Vik Stronge, two beer industry veterans with more than 40 years of combined experience.
The brewery is now based on Calder Vale Road in Wakefield, where its beer is produced on a 10-hectolitre brewhouse. Lost Cause focuses primarily on modern keg and canned beer, alongside occasional cask releases.
The Wakefield brewery is also home to a relaxed taproom serving beer directly from the source. Open from Thursday to Sunday, it hosts rotating street-food vendors and occasional events, and is both dog and family friendly.
