Independent brewery in Marske-by-the-Sea, founded in 2021 as Northern Beacon and renamed Talking Tides in 2022. It produces cask, keg and canned beer from a 12-barrel brewery.
Brewery story
Founded in 2021 as Northern Beacon, the brewery began on a small 200-litre kit before rebranding as Talking Tides in 2022.
A brewery taproom followed in 2023, before a major expansion in 2024 introduced a 12-barrel brewhouse, increased fermentation capacity and a modern canning line.
Talking Tides now produces beer across cask, keg and can, with its Marske brewery taproom joined by Crown Street Tap in Leeds.
